To the people of Georgia, thank you for trusting me to serve as your next Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner. To everyone who knocked on a door, made a call, donated, or took the time to vote, I’m grateful.
As I prepare to take office, my focus is on the families who open a renewal notice and wonder how they’ll afford it, and the neighbors who need a fair answer after a loss.

MEET KEISHA WAITES
In the Georgia House and on the Atlanta City Council, some of my work began with a call from a neighbor who needed help.
At FEMA and the U.S. Small Business Administration, I worked with families and small business owners recovering from disasters.
Those experiences shape how I think about insurance. When a home is damaged or a business has to close, people deserve to know what their policy covers and what happens next so they can start rebuilding.
Keisha’s campaign priorities include challenging unjustified home and auto insurance increases, addressing unfair pricing based on ZIP codes and credit scores, and protecting Georgians from insurance scams. She also supports better equipment and faster emergency response in rural communities.
